Rocking Giesing

Even during vacation season there gonna be live activities: First of all we’re musical guests on a private party (yes, such things happen ...), then we play Giesing on 10. July: It's called simply “Giesing rockt”. From 3pm to 8pm a total of six Bands play on Kirchplatz Hl. Kreuz.

Live - twice

This saturday, 15th May, is the last chance to experience Bloody Nora acoustic: Jaeger's Bar, Munich, beginning 20:00.
25th May, a Tuesday, we take off at Munich's coolest Club: 59:1 in Sonnenstraße. We play there as support act of "We are Wolves" from Quebec. Their Indie-Electro-Post-Punk is gonna be a lot of fun, so that's even another reason for coming there ...

this time: no electricity

Bloody Nora a bit different: Two concerts feature Bloody Nora ‘unplugged’ – this time it's pure acoustic sound instead of electric guitars. The usual rock power included, of course.
The gigs take place first on the Munich »Lange Nacht der Musik«, 8th May at Musik-Eck (Corneliusstr. 2), and one week later on 15th May at Jaeger's Bar(Senefelderstr. 3).
Don't miss it – see you!

Ready to go

After months of practise and fine tuning, and honing the power of the performance, Bloody Nora are now ready to entertain you. On Thursday 8th April we will play Glockenbachwerkstatt, Blumenstraße 7, supported by IFF, and starting at 20:00.
On stage: a lot of new songs, e.g. Don't Rely On Your Friends, Bodyclock and Broken Flowers.
We look forwards to seeing you there.

And now a little game ...

Instead of writing too much, Bloody Nora have been busy. Firstly, in creating new songs. Secondly, in organising gigs: on the 25th of February, we will bring what is known as the original Bloody Nora sound to Franken for the first time. We will return to play Munich on the 8th of April, at Glockenbachwerkstatt. Further concerts are also being prepared. (But are not yet ready to announce ...).
Therefore, we have also produced official live posters of Bloody Nora usually marked with gig details. There are three unmarked copies of these posters up for grabs: Whoever writes to us the fastest email at our info address asking for a poster, and indicating at the same time their favourite Bloody Nora song, will receive a brand spanking fresh print by return ...
Until we see each other, Your Noras

Polishing

After the summer break, and the excess of the Oktoberfest, the Noras are back in the practise room, polishing the sound and delivery, and adding three new songs, Dark Angel of The Twilight, The Remains of A Saint, and Murder. When, and only when we're happy, we will be announcing the next concerts, before planning to lay down the material in the recording studio. Until then, Nora.

Rockin' the Cinema

Rock and roll in an unusual setting: On Thursday 13th August Bloody Nora play the Atlantis Kino in München (Schwanthalerstr. 2).
Where normally the projector highlights the screen for the enjoyment of cinematic treasures, the opportunity has arisen for a special concert: Bloody Nora presents new pieces that have emerged during the summer, and in the cozy atmosphere of a movie theatre, up close and personal - in a performance extended from the practise room. The band will play after a regular film has been shown, and ending at 21.30. Entrance is entirely flexible and informal, and a hat passed around afterwards ...
And of course, there will be popcorn, beer and all the usual trappings of a night out at the movies!

A summer recess ...

The Four Noras have now returned to the practise room to develop the set and the act. Our aim: a piece of music one hundred minutes long, and made up of many songs, including the new numbers, "Head", "Rokudo Road", "It's Now Or Never, Baby" and "What Made The Wolfman Great". Bloody Nora may provoke your patience, but requests you await until the autumn for us to play live again.

DEMO

So, instead of sitting in the beer garden, we withdrew to the studio, installed microphones, laid cables, fiddled about a bit with the room sound - and then we got going. We believe the result was worthwhile: Four new songs, three only ever performed live twice, and a brand new song, "Sycophants", all now mixed and ready. Naturally, we do not want to ransom these songs for mullah, so instead, we give them free of charge for your listening pleasure. Simply click on "music", and download something to keep you going until we play again.

And so onwards ...

Emergenza lies strewn behind us, but others march on towards the finale. Bloody Nora now heads at full steam in another direction: Over the first weekend of May we will record four demo tracks. As soon as the songs are finished, we will put them up here on the websites. And until then, there is a small foretaste of the sound: Check out "music", and you will find an mp3 of Survivors performed live. And if one listens very carefully, you may hear exactly when Sin Innuendo breaks a bass string...

in the semi-final ...!

Not the World Cup or anything, but as a contestant in the Munich Emergenza. We were eliminated from the preliminary round for lacking, or not publicising to enough people, but we are now through on an "expert vote" to the semi-finals.
On the 25th April, Backstage Halle we will play again (starting at 19.00 on the dot). This time we leave our fate in the responsible hands of any listeners ...
